3 km from Fisherman's Cove, a quaint fishing village with shops, restaurants and an art gallery. Search for Maritime souvenirs and unique folk art, enjoy local cuisine or sit and watch the fishermen come in with their daily catch. 10 minutes from Rainbow Haven Beach, one of Nova Scotia’s busiest and most popular beaches and a designated Provincial Park. 5 minutes from Shearwater Aviation Museum, a military museum that has become one of Nova Scotia’s major tourist attractions. 25 minutes from Lawrencetown Beach, another designated Provincial Park. Dubbed ‘Nova Scotia’s Surfing Mecca,’ this beach is a prime destination for local and international surfers.
